Breastfeeding your baby can be a beautiful experience, but it often comes with some challenges. With our in-home or virtual lactation consults, we provide personalized support for your specific issues.

We can assist with establishing milk supply, slow weight gain, difficulty latching, bottle feeding, tongue and lip ties, oversupply, clogged ducts and mastitis, sore nipples, pumping, pump fitting, returning to work, breastfeeding multiples, sleep concerns, and more.

We accept some insurance plans through our partnership with The Lactation Network! Home or virtual visits are 100% covered for qualifying plans. Self-pay clients will receive a super bill that can be submitted to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Lactation services are HSA/FSA eligible.

Initial In Home Visit: $225 1.5 hour consult with an IBCLC in your home. Individualized care plan.

Virtual Initial Visit: $125 1.5-2 hour consult with an IBCLC via Milk Notes secure platform. Individualized care plan.

Follow up Consult: $175 in person, $100 virtual 1-1.5 hour follow up visit with an IBCLC in your home or virtually

Virtual Mini-Visit: $50 30 min consult with an IBCLC via Milk Notes secure platform. Best for those with older babies or for very specific issues such as nursing strike or back to work plan. Families with more extensive issues should book a full consult.

Prenatal Consult: $125 1.5 hour of breastfeeding education with an IBCLC prior to delivery. Develop a personalized plan for breastfeeding success.

Home visits are available for Portland, Maine and surrounding towns.

*In some cases a travel fee may apply for visits beyond 20 miles.

Discounted rates are available for clients with Medicaid.
